Your data, in one place.
We collect only what we need to keep you on the founding-member list. No third-party analytics, no cookies, no data sales, and you can leave at any time. This policy reflects what we do today.
Short version: we store your email address to (a) confirm you signed up and (b) send you product news and your founding-member perks. That's it.
01What we collect
- Email address — the only field in the sign-up form. We use it to confirm your spot and send product updates.
- IP address at sign-up — kept briefly so we can block spam and abusive traffic. Not used for anything else, not shared.
- Nothing else. We do not ask for a name, password, or payment details on the prelaunch page. No account is created from your sign-up.
02Why we collect it (legal basis)
Under the GDPR, we rely on your explicit consent — the checkbox you tick before submitting. Consent is the basis for all marketing and onboarding emails. We do not rely on "legitimate interest" for marketing.
03How long we keep it
Your email stays on the founding-member list until launch. We don't build an account or any other profile from it. After a confirmed unsubscribe (one click — every email has the link) we delete your address immediately — the row goes away the moment you click, no waiting period.
04Analytics
We use a self-hosted, first-party counter — our own script that writes anonymous event counts into our own database (no Plausible, no Umami, no Google, no third party). It records only anonymous totals: page views, how often the sign-up form is focused, and how many sign-ups succeed or fail (with the error code, so we can fix problems fast).
What it does not record: no IP address, no user agent, no cookies, no device fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. The rows cannot be tied back to you as a person — they are counts, not profiles. The data lives only in our Strato database (Germany) and is used solely to see how the site is doing.
05Who we share it with
Nobody for marketing or any other business purpose. Your email is stored on our own server and never passed to third parties.
- Hosting (Strato, Germany) — the infrastructure that stores your email. They operate the server; they don't see or use your data.
- Cloudflare — the CDN/security layer in front of the site (TLS, DDoS and bot protection). It handles requests in transit; we don't use it for analytics.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
06Your rights
At any time you may:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Rectify or correct it.
- Erasure — click the unsubscribe link in any email (deletes your address immediately), or request deletion by email.
- Object to marketing and withdraw consent with one click (every email has an unsubscribe link).
- Port your data.
- Complain to your local supervisory authority (for Berlin, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection).
